John EdwardSTEPHENS(Bensham, Gateshead) Peacefully at home with his loving family on Saturday 3rd June 2023 aged 79 years. John, beloved husband of Sylvia (Syl), a much loved dad of Darin and Wayne, father-in-law of Julie and Cheryl, a loving granda of Daniel, Abby, Bethany and Ethan, a loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Would family and friends please meet for funeral service at Saltwell Crematorium on Thursday 15th June 2023 at 1.45pm. Family flowers only. John, we will miss you forever, your cheeky smile, your quick witty humour and your loving warmth. An absolute gent, who would go above and beyond for his family, you welcomed me into yours and have been the best Grandad I could wish for to my Children. You’ll remain forever in our hearts.
